Sustainable Landscape

Ever wonder what an urban landscape in Portland would look like if it were teeming with biodiversity?  It would have multiple layers of root systems below the ground and it would have multiple canopy layers above the ground to foster weed resistance, minimal evaporation, and maintenance.  It would also contain raised soil levels and contours for added depth, more edges, and dimension… all of which are necessary for landscape systems in sync with nature.
